Rylynn

When my granddaughter turned two, I wanted to capture her dressing up in a feather boa. This 4x6 inch mini story has applique, digital photo and beading.

Glam Girl

I snapped this picture when granddaughter Elyse was getting ready for school. She was all-glammed out in her sunglasses and I had to stitch a story about this moment. Art Techniques: digital photo printing, applique, machine quilting, hand embellishment.

Fix My
Want Wand

Four-year-old granddaughter Rylynn handed me her wand and asked me to fix it. I puzzled for a minute and realized she had watched cartoons with fairy godmothers who would wave wands and shoes appeared on the princesses' feet. She wanted the same but her wand wasn't quite working. I had to preserve this tiny moment that warmed my heart. Art Techniques: digital photo printing, applique, machine quilting, hand embellishment.
